For most of our customers, time to market is critical. Therefore, Micronit focuses on design and simulation as well as on prototyping and high-volume manufacturing of microfluidic devices. As a result of our microfluidics know-how, we can design the most functional device for your application. In the prototyping phase Micronit will also keep in mind that the used processes are suitable for high-volume manufacturing.

Design and Simulation
An intelligent design contributes heavily to the success of the application. Our engineers have years of experience in developing functional microfluidic devices for different applications. The combination of their microfluidics knowledge and their chemistry and biology background enables them to transform an idea into a concrete product.
After the idea has been discussed with our customer, Micronit will make a design of a device, sometimes preceded by a feasibility study. We have the tools and know-how to simulate your microfluidics process with the device we have in mind and to adapt the design if necessary.
Rapid Prototyping
Micronit offers a platform for rapid engineering of prototypes for appropriate applications. Within a few weeks we can make a prototype of a device. Together with our customer, we will evaluate the device and if necessary we will do a redesign and start the prototyping phase again.
Micronit focuses on keeping the turnaround time for each iteration (idea - design - prototype - analysis - new idea) as short as possible.
High-Volume Manufacturing
When a functional prototype has been developed, Micronit can manufacture the device in higher volumes. We have our own cleanroom facilities with the capacity to fabricate large batches of microfluidic chips.
Company Strategy

The synergy of Innovation (process and product R&D), Quality (process control, yield analysis, track & trace) and Volume (production facilities, production employees, supply chain management) is important to keep fulfilling the challenging needs of our customers. It is, for instance, necessary to have a controlled, documented process with known capabilities, before scaling up the production. Only by this synergy, fast and controlled growth is possible in a high-tech environment.
