Micronit Biochip

For Wageningen University, The Netherlands, Micronit Microfluidics developed a biochip for analysis on amounts of biomaterial.

The material used for the biochip is fused silica glass, which is perfect for analyses with fluorescence of laser with lambda < 400 nm. The biochip consist of mixing and reaction chambers, different widths of channels and different sizes of holes.

When using various sizes of capillaries, a maximum of eleven different fluids can be injected into the biochip for analysis.
